Understanding the Numbers

We use imperial measurements for neck relief in thousandths of an Inch.

For example 0.004"- 0.012" for neck relief when measured at the 7th Fret with a notched straight edge and feeler gauges.

We use 32nd" and 64th" for action height, measured on top of the 12th Fret

We use thousandths of an Inch for the nut to 1st fret measurement, eg 0.020"-0.016"
